A Bit About Gayle
I was born in 1974 in Coleraine, Northern Ireland and am the youngest of two children. I grew up in Coleraine going to the Irish Society Primary School and then Coleraine High School. I went on to study European Business at the University of Ulster, and spent one year in the South of France. I married Craig in 2003 and automatically became step mum to Mark and Aaron. Craig and I both studied at Rhema Bible Training Centre on a part time basis from 2011-2013 completing the Level One Bible Studies course.
I became part of the worship team in Northwest Fellowship in Coleraine in 2008 and it was there that I first started to write my own songs. I currently serve in Life Triumphant Church, Limavady as worship leader.
In December of 2014, I felt the Lord start to move me about recording some of my newer songs. The name of the album was to be ‘Beauty from the Ashes.’ These songs were written in a very difficult season in my life. Worshipping and writing in that time became my lifeline. It was in those moments and still is in those moments of worship where I am so aware of the tangible beautiful presence of my Daddy God. Fixing my eyes on Jesus was the only thing that pulled me out of that dark season to where I am now. He reminded me of who I am in Him and how He sees me. I now can hold my album in my hands and see the beauty that has truly come out of the ashes. My heart for everything that I write is that others can be set free and healed when they listen and that hope will be ignited where it has been lost.
Craig and I are blessed with our beautiful, amazing son Joshua and we own a very noisy miniature Schnauzer called Thunder as well as a number of Tropical fish and two seemingly immortal Mollys (black goldfish!).
It has been an amazing roller coaster ride up until this point and we are excited to see God reveal the next part of His awesome plan!
